Aubrey Peeples

Aubrey Peeples has been an American actor and singer for more than a decade. She is best remembered for her role as Layla Grant, in Nashville (2012) drama and Claudia Shepard from Sharknado (2013). In addition, she played the principal role Jerrica Jem Betnton, in the film Jem and the Holograms (2005). Aubrey Peeples grew up in Lake Mary Florida by parents Wendy and Ashley. Her sister is named Ally. Aubrey performed for 10 seasons with Orlando Repertory Theatre. Aubrey graduated from Lake Mary Preparatory School and was chosen as valedictory of students of the 2012 class when she completed her studies. Harvard University initially accepted her application but then decided to let her into the university for an additional entry after she was chosen to play 'Nashville'. Peeples was a guest on Drop Dead Diva (2009) Burn Notice (2007) Austin & Ally (2011) Grey's Anatomy (2005) and had regular roles in Necessary Roughness (1991). The actress was also in two television-based films, Ace Ventura Jr. Pet Detective (2009 and The Good Mother). The Good Mother was the show's second season. she was portrayed by Layla Grant in the Nashville drama. Peeples talked about her bipolar disorder during an interview she conducted the magazine NKD Magazine. Indiewire listed Peeples in September 2014 as one of the top American young actors.
