DMX began rapping in the end of 1990s. He released his debut The album It's Hot and Hell was Dark May 19, 1998. The album was followed by other releases such as... And There Was X as well as the Great Depression Year of the Dog... Redemption of the Beast, Grand Champ. He was nominated in 2001 for the Grammy Award for the Best Rap Album Category. The album titled...And then there was X. In addition to his musical career, he has participated in film projects such as Lords of the Street Belly Top Five Exit Wounds Always Die Alone Never Die alone bleeding Romeo Will Die Backstage Beyond the Law Lockjaw The Rise of the Kulev Serpent and Fast and Fierce Death Race.
