Holly-Hunter

Holly Hunter is a well-known American actor, producer and director. Her name has been acknowledged for films such as Broadcast News The Firm The Piano The Incredibles and The Incredibles. Her work has been recognized with numerous awards, including an Oscar for the movie Piano. Her career began as an actress on Broadway and Off Broadway. When she was a kid, Helen Keller was her most loved character from a fifth class play. When she was in the fifth grade due to mumps, she lost hearing in the left ear. However, she did not let that stop her. When she was a teenager She studied acting and then moved to New York City. Hunter was stuck in an elevator with playwright Beth Henley when she met her. They collaborated to create Broadway Crimes of the Heart in which Hunter made her Broadway debut. Following her move from Los Angeles she tried to get film roles and bagged the role of a co-star in Swing Shift. In the years since, she has been in numerous films and shows and TV films throughout a span of over three decades. Holly Hunter has a Hollywood Walk of Fame actor as well as the Women in Film Lucy Award.
